Departure from Paramaribo towards the comfortable Anaula Nature Resort, located at the foot of the Ferulassi Falls where you will spend the night. On the way to there you will pass the various maroon villages where waving children and women washing clothes standing along the riverbed. In addition, we pass the turbulent Jaw Jaw rapids. After the "check in" you have the opportunity to explore the resort, after which lunch will be served in buffet form. After lunch we go to a nearby swimming facility, the Ferullasi rapids or a beautiful sandy beach where we can relax, swim and enjoy a natural spa bath. After the dinner, our guide provides information about the area and explaining Saramaccan culture. After that we will go for an exciting adventure in search of fishermen. Day 2

After the forest walk, you have the opportunity to fish, swim or just go along the river in a hammock to enjoy the beauty of nature and the beautiful view of the island until lunch. After lunch we go to the village of New Aurora for a village walk by coral. During the tour of the village, you will meet local people and their unique way of life and their traditional habits and uses. We visit the mission post with a church, primary school and a medical post. After dinner, enjoy a cultural dance performance. Traditional dance such as the Seketi, Awasa and Bandamba will be performed for us. Our guide will give an explanation of the content and meaning of these dances. Note: The cultural dance evening is only offered for a minimum of 8 guests

Day 3

This morning you can fill in to your own needs. You can paddle, kayak, swim, go for a hike, relax in the pool or in a hammock, or enjoy nature. We visit the mission post with a church, a primary school and a medical post. From New Aurora we walk to the nearby village of Gunsi where the coral is waiting for us. During this walk we come along the soils with various crops of local residents. After dinner we can enjoy a cultural dance performance. Traditional dance such as the Seketi, Awasa and Bandamba will be performed for us. The guide will explain the meaning of these dances.

Day 4

This morning you can fill in to your own needs. You can paddle or kayak, swim, go for a hike, relax in the lounge or hammock in peace and enjoy nature. After lunch we return to Atjoni, where we depart for Paramaribo by bus.
